Who provides e-invoicing software in Ethiopia?
Under Directive No. 1142/2026 a business can use an approved service provider, approved software, an approved cloud system, or its own system authorised by the Ministry of Revenue. ELIF Technologies provides ETEIMS, which registers invoices from your ERP or billing software with the Ministry's EIMS platform, hosted by ELIF, with a signing agent, or on your own server.

What is ETEIMS?
ETEIMS is our Electronic Invoice Management System. It connects your ERP or billing system to the Ministry of Revenue's EIMS platform under Directive No. 1142/2026, registering every invoice, receipt, credit and debit note and returning its IRN and QR code.
How can ETEIMS be deployed?
Three ways: Server-Based (SaaS, hosted by ELIF), Agent-Based (hosted, with your private signing key kept on your own computer) or On-Premise (on your own server, so your data never leaves your premises).
Does your ERP support Ethiopian tax, payroll and the Ethiopian calendar?
Yes. It is configured for Ethiopian VAT and withholding, income tax and pension in payroll, and the Ethiopian calendar, and it works in Amharic and English.
Do we own the source code?
Yes. We build our own software rather than reselling foreign products, so source code, design documentation and the ability to change the system can be transferred to you in full.
