Electronic billing software

Electronic billing and invoicing software in Ethiopia

ELIF's billing software issues invoices and receipts that are registered with the Ministry of Revenue in real time under Directive No. 1142/2026, each with its IRN and QR code. Use it as a hosted invoicing system, at the point of sale, or connected to the ERP or accounting software you already have.

What it does

Compliant with Ethiopian e-invoicing

Directive No. 1142/2026 requires invoices to be registered on the Ministry of Revenue's EIMS platform. Our ETEIMS system signs every document with SHA-512 RSA using INSA certificates, holds it for up to 72 hours if the connection drops, and keeps a full audit log.

Three ways to run it

On site anywhere in Ethiopia

Our team travels to clients all over Ethiopia, from Addis Ababa, Adama, Bahir Dar, Hawassa, Dire Dawa, Mekelle, Gondar and Jimma to every other town, for workshops, installation and training, with remote support between visits.

Does it meet the Ministry of Revenue's e-invoicing rules?

It is built to Directive No. 1142/2026 and registers documents on the Ministry of Revenue's EIMS platform; 11 EIMS document types have been verified live with the Ministry.

Can we keep our current accounting software?

Yes. ETEIMS can connect to the ERP or billing system you already use, so staff keep working on the screens they know.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Sales continue. Documents are queued and retried automatically for up to 72 hours, as Article 23(4) of the directive allows.

Can it handle several branches?

Yes. It supports many branches and companies in one system, with separate controls and reports for each cashier and branch.

Does ELIF work outside Addis Ababa?

Yes. Our team travels to clients in every region of Ethiopia for workshops, installation, data migration and training on site, and supports them by phone, Telegram and remote session between visits.
